Wastewater treatment
Wastewater treatment consists of removing impurities from water that has been used. The treatment is carried out in wastewater treatment plants (WWTP).
There, wastewater passes through a series of processes to restore the desired quality characteristics. This allows us to return the water to the environment in better condition, thus completing the water cycle.
Wastewater treatment has one main by-product: sludge. How much is produced and of what quality depends on the volume of water, the characteristics of the water, and the technology used in the treatment plant.
At Aquarbe, we work to find innovative solutions to eliminate with the least environmental impact possible the sludge generated in wastewater treatment.
